Q-Data Processor & Q-Links
The Q-Data Processor and Q-Links modules read data from RF Tags, PLCs, etc. when a part arrives at a read station (upload station). These modules are typically installed on shop-floor PC’s and communicate directly with the PLC and the RF tag reader hardware. The module run-time functionality is typically set up to be triggered by controls equipment when a part arrives at a reader. These modules also offer scripting functionality to support various communication methodologies to guarantee no loss of data. Operator notifications and bypass mechanisms are also supported.

Additionally, unique functionality is provided to offload and reload parts at the read-write stations. When the part is offloaded, the image is read from the tag and stored locally and/or centrally. When the same part is reloaded, the image is downloaded back onto the tag. Q-Data Processor allows you to buffer data locally, ensuring a smooth recovery in the event of server hardware failures. Q-Data Processor and Q-Links modules currently support ALL devices that are OPC compliant.
